Third sector organisations have the chance to shape the future of one of the largest providers of community health services in the city. Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust (BCHC) is consulting on its plans to become authorised as a Foundation Trust.
The 12-week period of consultation, which began on 12th September, will enable all interested parties to register their views about the way the organisation proposes to structure itself as a Foundation Trust.
BCHC would welcome the views of the third sector and voluntary organisations. Of particular interest are views about the proposed constitution and the way the Trust intends to use its membership. These views will be used to help BCHC create an organisation that is truly representative of the communities it serves.
We would like to invite you to join us at a drop in session at BVSC on Friday 4th November 2011 between 1.30pm and 5pm. This is an opportunity for you to find out more about Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust, the Community Foundation Trust model, and our membership and governor proposals.
If you would like further information about the session please contact Adam Dandy (Public Engagement Lead) via firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0121 465 7800.
We look forward to seeing you on the 4th November 2011.
Thanks in advance for your time.
